Why are a woman in her 40s
attactive to a teenage boy?
TV presenter Caroline Flack, 32, is
the latest to be labelled a 'cradle
snatcher' for her on-off relationship
with 20-year-old One Direction singer
Harry Styles.
But Soraya Wasenius who is a gold
member on Seekacougar.com when
she is 40 and met 18-year-old Jack,
says there is nothing wrong with
dating a younger man, adding 'in
fact it’s great.'
Despite the 12-year age gap, Soraya
is still with her toyboy boyfriend,
and is more than happy to offer
advice to others who are considering
a younger partner.

'If you think he’s immature, don’t
worry about it. He’ll make you feel
younger. As time goes on he will
mature, every man does eventually
doesn’t he?
'It is 2012 and as long as people
don’t break the law, they should be
allowed to do what they want', she
told The Mirror.
The pair met while Soraya was
working as a receptionist at an
insurance company in Norwich and
Jack joined as an insurance clerk in
May 2009.

At first Soraya, from Essex, thought
Jack looked too young but she soon
became attracted to his intelligent
and confident personality.
After a few months of working closely
together romance blossomed but the
couple made sure that they kept it
secret from friends and colleagues.

'I had just made a lucky escape from
my seven-year relationship and the
split was heartbreaking. I had so
much fun hanging out with Jack.
'It felt so nice and a little bit
naughty. He was a great kisser,
which was a relief because I wasn’t
sure how experienced he was.
'He made me feel 20 years younger.
He really knows what he’s doing and
the sex is fantastic.'
Despite their connection, Soraya
admits that the age difference does
occasionally pose a problem.

She says they never go out in the
evenings with friends and she
'couldn’t think of anything worse
than going out with a group of 20-
year-old men.'
They also share little in common, as
they were born in different eras.
She adds: 'We never watched the
same TV shows growing up, he’s
never seen the first Dr Who
programmes for example. So we
don’t talk about nostalgia.'

Jack's parents have also been kept in
the dark about the relationship
although he believes his mother
wouldn't mind.
Jack, now 20, said: 'I have not told
my mum about Soraya yet. I touched
upon it a while ago and asked what
she would think about it and she
didn’t seem to mind too much.
'Soraya doesn’t look her age, she
goes to the gym and looks great. So

it’s not really obvious that there’s a
big age gap.'
Despite a brief hiatus last autumn
the couple are back together and
Soraya, who isn't on the pill, is
unsure about the next steps when it
comes to children.
She adds: 'I’m not worried about
children, I only feel social pressure
to have kids.
'We have spoken about it and I’m
sure he would be a great dad.'
